Valentine’s Day Window at Lou Lou’s Corner

January 21st, 2010

Valentine's Day Window at Lou Lou's CornerIn the Valentine’s Day window at Lou Lou’s Corner, red and white fabric lines the back of the window, snow covers the ground, gift ideas fill every available space, and countless hearts hang from the ceiling. Anything that was pink or red and sparkled was perfect for the display. The process of taking down and packing up Christmas decorations to make room for Valentine’s Day required many hours, but, upon completion, the front window was eye-catching and appealing. My favorite addition to this year’s Valentine’s Day Window was the suspended Bilibo. After untangling fishing line and transforming a red Bilibo into a hanging basket, my favorite Jellycat family, Les Animals, now sits as part of the display. The season of love has come alive in the store, and we even have ideas for you.

Jax and Bones

November 10th, 2009

jax and bones good karma toysDogs love to chew, scratch, pull and demolish their toys until there is nothing left.  As dog owners, it’s an occurrence we see too often. If the dog toy companies would only make sturdier toys that could withstand rough play and if these toys could actually get our dogs attention, the dog toy market would be a better place to shop.  Well, forget all those ifs and take a look at Jax and Bones. Lou Lou’s Corner has a selection of Jax and Bones dog rope toys for your dog that will encourage play, promote dental hygiene and last for a lengthy amount of time. All Jax and Bones dog toys are made with natural dyes and hand tied rope to keep your pooch happy and healthy. Read the rest of this entry »
