Patrick Calello was studying Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon University when he was challenged by his professor to design a product for the do-it-yourself wooden hobby industry. It wasn’t long before this car-loving guy developed a toy car concept that would be fashioned out of wood; by 1992, he had begun manufacturing wooden cars that kids could take apart, reassemble, and race with their friends. Since then, his designs have been inspiring creativity in children worldwide by allowing children to visualize, assemble, and customize their toy cars.
In a world of disposable toys, Automoblox has pushed itself to the top and won numerous awards for durability, safety, and educational features. With wheels and roofs made from polycarbonate plastic, the cars are intended for kids who play hard–the body design itself can withstand 110 pounds of downward pressure and 10 repeated drops on one wheel.
Here at Lou Lou’s Corner, we offer a selection of Automoblox vehicles. The new Automoblox X9X Sport Utility Vehicle can handle any terrain your child can provide. From the bright green green color to the added details of running boards, skid plates and roof rack, your child is sure to enjoy this tough toy. Another great toy car from Automoblox is their new S9R Limited Edition Sedan– a car that has it all, with smooth lines and hot accessories. The spoilers, rear diffusers, side skirts, and extra wide-rimmed wheels are guaranteed to get the attention of your child.
Automblox toys come in a wide selection of shapes, colors and sizes. At Lou Lou’s Corner, you will find Automoblox sets, mini cars, and pink and purple cars for girlie girls. Here at Lou Lou’s Corner, we love the durability and safety that you get with wooden toys, and Automoblox is one of our favorite brands.
